This...My comment is for several of the last posts. This is my first time to look at Kurt's blog after being a customer of his for 2 years. I would first like to mention that Kurt produces the best milk anyone has ever tasted. I'm basing my claim on having tried milk from several dairies over the last 30 years ..... starting with one in Sulphur Springs, Texas that my best friend and her husband started when they were in their 20's. Before tasting Kurt's milk, I thought no one could surpass that experience. After reading his most recent posts, I realize what a rewarding and sometimes harrowing job being a dairy farmer entails. I personally have just a trifling bit invested in caring for farm animals ..... having 4 sheep for lawnmowers and chickens for eggs, but most of my agricultural time is spent with vegetables and fruit trees. I have lost sheep, chickens and an awful experience once when a dog got into an ill secured turkey pen. It's not easy raising food and I feel lucky that we have a place like Kurtwood Farms on Vashon.cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00212281085306660045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3648833576499907046.post-78438315472288699632008-12-16T08:49:00.000-08:002008-12-16T08:49:00.000-08:00Can't you just leave the milk running a little to ...Can't you just leave the milk running a little to avoid frozen pipes? ; ) k8katelaughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06858906597235750946noreply@blogger.com
